It seems that every week is host to a new myriad of articles, blogs, and comments about the importance of talent development. That managers are now being measured on their ability cultivate their employees, that investing in this critical employee need helps increase productivity and output in the long-term, that organizations that fail to leverage the skills of talent development do so at their own peril. Certainly, the hype exists.
