New Research from HCI on Strategic Talent Planning

With human capital accounting for nearly 70% of an organization’s average fixed costs, constant vigilance and planning is essential to optimize this investment. While most organizations do perform planning around talent development, organizational structure, and future workforce needs, it’s often performed on an ad hoc or as-needed basis. Comprehensive planning in all three areas of focus—strategy, structure and talent—allows an organization to do so much more than have the right talent in place; a benefit itself that is worth the price of admission.
