Talent Success, or Failure, Begins with Workforce Planning

Do you agree with this statement?  Most likely this discipline is either underdeveloped or non-existent at your organization.  In 2008, noted talent thinker Peter Cappelli cited research that demonstrated less than two-thirds of U.S. Employers had a formal workforce plan.  In 2012 research from HCI and partner HumanConcepts, we found that number to have stayed the same, despite increased exposure and awareness. (Only 41% of respondents reported having a workforce plan that was built off of a clearly articulated business strategy.)
