Workforce Planning to Solve the Skilled Trades Talent Shortage Challenge

According to a recent Manpower report, 49 percent of U.S. employers are experiencing difficulty filling mission-critical positions within their organizations, despite continued high unemployment. Positions in skilled trades (e.g. electricians, truck drivers, mechanics, and welders) being among the hardest to fill in many developed nations. The most common reasons employers are having trouble filling jobs include lack of available applicants, applicants looking for more pay, and lack of experience.
